Privacy Policy
Plain language, no fine-print tricks. This describes exactly what heyfirstcall.com collects, why, and who it’s shared with.
Last updated — October 2026
The short version
We collect the information you give us through our forms so we can build and run your AI receptionist, or follow up about partnering with us. We never sell your data. We use a small number of named third-party services to run the product — never more than we need. Below is exactly which ones, and why.
What we collect
Depending on which form you use on this site, we collect some or all of:
- Contact details — name, work email, phone number, agency or business name.
- Business details (Client Studio / onboarding only) — industry, service area, hours, services offered, booking preferences, pricing stance, FAQs, and similar operational details needed to draft an AI receptionist.
- Monthly report figures (Report Generator only) — the numbers you type in stay in your browser only; see "What we don’t collect" below.
- Basic traffic data — page views and which link brought you here (via URL parameters like
?ref=orutm_*), collected through Vercel Web Analytics. - How the site is used — clicks, scrolling and recordings of page visits, collected through Microsoft Clarity (see "The services we rely on" below). Anything you type into a form field is masked in your browser and never recorded.
What we don’t collect
- Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless by design. The only cookies on this site come from Microsoft Clarity, described below.
- The Monthly Report Generator (
/report) runs entirely in your browser — the figures you type never leave your device or reach our servers. Microsoft Clarity does not run on that page. - We don’t ask for or store payment card details anywhere on this site.
- We don’t collect data about your client’s customers without your knowledge — see "About your clients" below.
How we use it
Form submissions are delivered to our internal team via Telegram’s messaging API, so a real person can follow up — there is no marketing database, ad platform, or resale involved. If you use Client Studio, the business details you provide are used only to draft a first version of your client’s AI receptionist, which our team reviews and finalizes before anything goes live.
The services we rely on
HeyFirstcall is run from the United Kingdom and is built on a small, deliberately short list of infrastructure providers:
- Telegram — receives form submissions so our team can respond. Governed by Telegram’s own privacy policy.
- Our voice-AI provider — powers the live demo phone calls (the number on this site and the in-browser "Talk" button). Call audio is processed by that provider, and by the speech-recognition, language-model and speech-synthesis services it runs on, to generate the AI’s responses. The provider is named in our data-processing terms on request.
- Vercel — hosts this site and provides cookieless Web Analytics (page views, referring links, general location/device category). See Vercel’s privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity — shows us how visitors use the site (clicks, scrolling and recordings of page visits) so we can fix what confuses people. Anything typed into a form field is masked in your browser and never uploaded. Clarity sets cookies on this site that recognise a returning browser and link the pages of one visit; Microsoft also sets its own cookies, which it uses for analytics and advertising. Microsoft handles this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We don’t run ad pixels or third-party marketing trackers on this site. Microsoft Clarity, above, is the one session-recording tool we use.
The instant demo call
If you tick the consent box and ask us to, we place a single automated call to the number you gave us. That call is answered by an artificial (AI) voice, not a person. We do this only with your express consent, and we record the consent wording you agreed to, the time, and your IP address alongside it. The call itself is recorded and transcribed by our voice-AI provider so we can review and improve the receptionist; the recording, transcript and a short summary are sent to our internal team. We do not place this call unless you ask for it, we cap how often any one number can be called, and you can ask us to delete the recording at any time by emailing hello@heyfirstcall.com. We do not use your number for marketing calls afterwards.
The 7-day trial
When you give us your website at heyfirstcall.com/start:
- Your website. We read the public pages of the website you enter and use an AI language model (DeepSeek) to turn them into your receptionist’s script: services, hours, service area and answers your site already gives.
- Calls. Calls to your trial receptionist, in the browser or on its phone number, are handled by our voice-AI provider and the speech, language and voice models it runs on. Each call is recorded and transcribed so you can listen to it and read it on your trial page, and summarized for you. The recording plays only from your private trial link.
- Email. Your trial link, call summaries, calendar invites and reports are sent to the email you gave us through Resend.
- Payment. The $19 is paid in USDT on the public TRON blockchain. We see the amount, the time and the sending address, as anyone can. We never see or store card details.
- Your own Twilio number (optional). If you connect one, we pass its credentials to our voice-AI provider once to route its calls, and we do not store them. We remove the number from our provider when your trial ends.
- Verification. To confirm the business is yours, we check that a call to our line came from a number listed on your website.
You can ask us to delete your trial and everything in it at any time: hello@heyfirstcall.com.
About your clients
If you’re a partner using Client Studio to set up a client’s receptionist: we ask you to confirm you have that client’s permission before submitting their business details. We don’t place automated calls or texts to any client contact number you provide — a real person on our team coordinates with you directly.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions as long as needed to build, run, and support your account, or to follow up on a partnership inquiry. If you’d like anything deleted, email us and we’ll take care of it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email hello@heyfirstcall.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, Clarity’s included, and the site works the same without them. The attribution parameters (like ?ref=) that identify which link you came from are stored only in your browser’s session storage and are cleared when you close the tab.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
